Unapologetic Refinement

The metal element is all about refining everything around us. We have the ability to take everything that was created in the Spring and Summer season and polish it up. This can relate to the foods we have grown, our views about ourselves, the relationships we are in, the feelings that we have, and our projects that we have started.

It is now clear what we must cut out and fine tune in our lives in order to be happy. Now that the transformation process is over we can see clearly into what lies ahead.

Remove the clutter from your life and don’t look back! Don’t apologize for cutting out what is necessary for your continued growth. Create the space you need in order to connect with yourself.

Don’t settle for what is not bringing you happiness in life any longer. Send it on its way as you focus on the beauty within you.

We welcome in the energies that teach us about setting limits, protecting boundaries, and organizing the way we want our life to look. Setting limits is important in order to avoid burn out. It will create the energy that you need in order to get through this dark winter season.

Protect your boundaries as you begin to go deeply into your core. Those who have not done their transformative work during the late summer season will begin searching for someone else’s life force to steal. Be sure to have those strong boundaries in place so you don’t become drained energetically.

Face the grief that you experience in life and give it permission to release itself from your psyche.

Don’t let it sit and saturate in your lungs, breathe it out and let it go. Let the air wisp away any of these feelings that you have.

Maybe some of the plans you had for this summer didn’t work out. Perhaps some of your dreams and inspirations were crushed and you never saw that coming. You may have thought that certain things were going to work this certain way and they took a turn for the worst. You may have lost a loved one or lost your cool but it is important not to hold on to the grief that you are feeling after any of these events.

Yes, it’s front and center but in order to “get that off your chest” you need to own it and accept it. Then you can begin to heal as we journey into these feelings on a deeper level.

Don’t be afraid to feel this sadness. In today’s society sadness and emotions are viewed as a weakness. People pretend that they don’t have emotions in order to keep their professional persona, when really it’s eating them alive inside. Emotions are beautiful and in order to understand yourself you must let them harmoniously flow through you.

Express yourself even if you’re afraid. It’s always better to send it out rather than deep within. Don’t repress this feeling because it will accumulate within you and provide a space for illness to develop.

Slice and dice all the areas of your life that need it. Unapologetically shout out to the world why you’ve done this. Let your emotions express themselves. Look within at that beautiful shiny core and remind yourself that you’re doing it for YOU!
