I am the clinical director for the Acupuncture Lounge and the Denver Center for Acupuncture and strive to make your experience the best it can be. From a young age I loved health care. I used to follow my father during his rounds at the hospital since I was 7 years old! I really dove into alternative medicine when I was 20 and studied Ethno-botany, at the University of Hawaii, which taught me a wide range of healing modalities from around the world. I received my masters of Science in Oriental medicine from the Southwest Acupuncture College in 2005. During school I had an amazing opportunity to study under my mentor and friend David Scrimgeour. He taught me Japanese Acupuncture, herbal medicine and how to excel with treatments using functional medicine specifically on women. You can find her private practice at http://www.sylviasalcedo.com.

Debrah Santi L.Ac
I had the privilege to study with Li Haan, an extraordinary practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shiatsu in Maui, HI, for 3 years. I was licensed as a nurse 2003 and worked as a nurse and patient advocate on Maui and Australia through 2007 when I relocated to Colorado. I realized that although I loved caring for people, certain aspects of Western medical practices didn’t resonate with me. So after much soul searching my path led me to the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
I am Nationally Board Certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dipl.Ac.
I earned my Master of Science in Acupuncture, M.S.Ac. from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This degree includes over 2500 hours training in Acupuncture, Auriculotherapy, Moxibustion, Cupping, Tui Na, Electr0-Acupuncture and nutritional therapy as well as Western medical diagnosis of disorders and disease.
